The Trimble S8 Total Station with DR High Precision EDM can now include Trimble Vision technology.

Customers looking for extreme accuracy (1” or 0.5” angle accuracy) and optimally efficient data capture will find these models of the Trimble S8 ideal for their precision applications.

Note: Customers now have two Trimble S8 models with Trimble Vision to choose from: DR High-Precision EDM and Long-Range DR Plus EDM.

About Trimble Vision Technology

Trimble VISION™ technology streams video from the Trimble S8 instrument to the Trimble controller. It enables users to:

• See what the instrument "sees".
• Control the instrument via the image on screen; with a simple click on the controller screen, surveyors can set up measurement rounds or add DR shots at any time without returning to the instrument.
• Verify measurements—data overlays on screen clearly show all measured points.
• Capture still images of the job site, documenting important information such as site conditions and detail.
